The Department of Professional Development provides continuous learning opportunities at Western New Mexico University for all of our employees, which includes faculty, staff & our student work force. We contribute to the WNMU mission by cultivating a culture of service excellence and providing customer-centered services such as our +1 service module training, our new employee orientation and onboarding programs for both staff & faculty members, and skillsets training that facilitates employee growth and success. Our service strategy & standards support diversity, sponsor transformation, optimize collaboration & productivity, and create a positive organizational culture committed to service excellence, continuous improvement, and enhancing the overall student experience. In addition to training, Pro Dev can provide consulting with departments on organizational development and business process management concepts for continued process improvement analysis. SKILLSETS is our subscription to self paced learning. Skillsets provides over 7,000+ hours of online self paced learning – from IT labs to general employee courses (PMI, Microsoft, Google, etc. soft skills) there is something for everyone. Check out Skillsets Online today!
